Mobile Notarizations

Before the Appointment
- You should review all requirements and fees before scheduling the appointment.

- Travel fees will still be charged even if a notarization cannot be performed.
During the Appointment
- I will review the documents.
- Make sure to complete all necessary blank spaces on the document. I cannot give advice on how to complete your form.
- I will verify the identity of the signer(s) and their willingness to sign.
- I will notarize the appropriate documents.
- Fees will be due at the time of notarization. $10 per notarial act. In general, each required signature is considered a notarial act. For example, if a document requires the signatures of two people, that is considered 2 notarial acts.
- The travel fee is $55 within 5 miles (one-way) of Clackamas Town Center. Each additional mile is an additional $1.50. Maximum travel distance is 25 miles one-way.
Remote Online Notarizations

Before the Appointment
- Review all requirements and fees before scheduling.
- After you schedule, you will receive an email with the invitation link for the remote online notarization appointment.
- Make sure you have a PDF version of your document. You will need to upload this to the notarization platform.
- Before the appointment can start, you must go to the invitation link to upload your document and verify your identity. You can do this process in advance.
- Note: A biometrics program will be used to identify you. You will need to upload your identification and also have a working camera, so that the program can capture different angles of your face. Click here for a video that will walk you through the process.
- You will pay through the platform. The cost is $25 for the first notarization and $8 for each additional one.

- After you have uploaded your document click the continue button.
- On the next page you will click “Meet the Notary”.
- At this point you may need to give permission for the program to use the audio and video on your device.
- Then you will verify your identity. Have your identification ready. You will need to upload photos of it. Follow the prompts to verify your identification.
- When the verfication is completed, you will enter the virtual room where you will see your document and the video windows.
- I will review the document and verify that all signers are present and willing to sign.
- Make sure to complete all necessary blank spaces on the document. I cannot give advice on how to complete your form.
- Then I will complete the notarization.
- You will receive a PDF of the notarized document.
